Mailing List Privacy Policy

Robot’s Rules is operated by Michael Sanderson ("we," "us"). This policy covers our email lists. The Robot’s Rules app and our website have their own policies: App Privacy Policy and Website Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
If you join an email list, we and our email provider receive your email address, any details you choose to give us (such as your role or organization), and when and how you signed up. Our email provider may record whether emails are delivered, opened or clicked. If you reply to an email, we receive your reply.
How we use information
We use information to send you the emails you signed up for, including news, updates and questions; to respond to you; and to comply with the law and protect against abuse.
How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us run our email lists: providers of email delivery and email lists, and of email and file storage.
We may also disclose information if we believe the law requires it, to protect the rights or safety of our users, us or others, with your consent or at your direction, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
How long we keep information
We keep your information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, except that we keep an unsubscribed address on a suppression list so we do not email you again.
Your choices and requests
- Unsubscribe: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us.
- Requests: email support@robotsrules.com to ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your request.
Outside the United States
We and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you may contact us at support@robotsrules.com to ask about, access, correct or delete your information.
Children
Our email lists are for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We post changes on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects personal information we have already collected, we will give any additional notice and obtain any consent that the law requires.
